Human Resource Dynamics was registered with the Companies Office of Jamaica in November 2006 to provide a range of HR services, which started in 2007. Two years later, its operations were closed due to unforeseen circumstances. During the closure, its founder, Mrs Alia Vaz-Heaven, while continuing to empower others in various organisations, broadened her capacity in some of the following ways:
Qualified as a Barrister.
Obtained a Master of Laws degree with Employment Law as a specialism.
Acquired an international designation as a Senior Professional in HR.
Led a HR Department for a law school for several years.
Developed several HR policies and procedures based on employment laws.
Mrs Vaz-Heaven’s HR experience, which spans almost three decades, and her qualifications, have resulted in the relaunch of Human Resource Dynamics in November 2024 to focus primarily on the legal aspects of employment practices. Her excellent legal research skills, ability to use creative methods to convey complex information, and a consistently thorough approach to any undertaking, augur well for empowering all who want to or must know the laws that govern employment practices, from which HR policies and employee handbooks are developed. Her passion for excellence sets her apart.
